Dodge aoe? Is that a new car or something? I'm trying to play Final Fantasy Online, not shop for cars. Sheesh, these 3 NPCs in these dungeons are pushy.

Was trying Garuda EX last night with a couple of FC friends and we were doing ok. The main issue we had was that the other healer spent more time in cleric stance spamming Stone then they did healing, lol. They also just stood in plume aoe casting Holy instead of healing the rest of the group (I was healing MT, so I didn't want to concentrate too much on healing the DPS).
I get switching to cleric stance occasionally, but it should never stop you healing when heals are needs often, like in Garuda EX.

Safe to say, we failed :P haha.

In Syrc tower last night, all the 5 DPS in my group (3 of who were BLms) decided that staying out of the fire wasn't worth gimping their DPS due to movement and ate every aoe to the face.
Needless to say our entire group wiped on Scylla and thereafter I spent the rest of the time rotating between raising these idiots as they took turns dying to ground AOEs ಠ_ಠ
My other white mage decided it was fun too and joined in their death parade. At least I got Scylla's robe of casting as a consolation prize.　������

Mine is when my heals hit the players but regardless they are dead o.o Like Benediction or my Cures with Swift Cast. That breaks my heart D: You are 100% sure you can heal them up, until that small little random input did not go in well. T___T and cause a wipe.

My terror history is to have forgotten and to leave activated Cleric Stance during fight against Chimera (Cutter's Cry). I realized and disabled only after resuscitate 4x both dps. Nevertheless, I won 3 commendation lol

I've actually had times where I know CS is available (i.e. not on the 5s cd) and I'll hit it, but it won't disable. I don't even realize it till I'm a couple heals in and wondering why the hell my heals are so sucky. e.e

Tell me about it. On my first t5 clear awhile ago, I had Stance on after Snakephase, then when the tank got hit by Death Sentence, I was baffled why my cures were healin 200-250 until about halfway to the phase when I saw that it was still on (im 100% sure I clicked it off after Snakes! grr).

Not really much stories to tell myself, worst ones I would guess are the ones when tanks go in 30-50 gear without either Oath on, or without Defiance and expect them to survive

First time in Wanderer's Palace. Myself the Scholar, and my levelling partner the Dragoon. We got paired up with a Paladin who had also never been there. In fact, the only person who had was the ridiculously over geared Black Mage; the rest of us were in AF gear, with a splash of i60 pieces.

Now, it's not too complicated an instance, right? But the tank had this martyr complex going on. They wouldn't move on unless everything was dead, and refused to facepull anything. The end result was that we died from the knife wielding psychopaths infesting the place. A lot.

This, naturally, was the healer's fault for not being able to keep them alive during the Tonberry stabbies for more than a short while.

Stone Vigil (normal mode): Tank started a speed run crazy. A pull yet was not finish and he already went running catch more. Even being scholar, my MP is not infinite. Before arrive in second boss, he did a big pull and then ran to the boss. Impossible. All us die. Perhaps I am noob, but I think that tank was trolling me. Or kamikaze. First time I give quit in a dungeon.

Now I was see name in lodestone and the guy had several gear ilvl110... Experience he should have.

I110 doesn't mean much these days. Doesn't take much to get 110 with a zergfest of hunts.
