The thing is, its not a huge challenge, you'll be i90 in a week.

I agree. There's no challenge to get to i90 which will get you into the end game content. There are so many bonus tomes being thrown around I've geared up two other 50's that I don't even seriously play. There's THAT much extra tomes being thrown at us.

thats what i hate about the hunts. inexperienced players get the ability to have almost every piece of i90 gear, and one of the i100 gear in just a few hours. i love it because it allows me to do the same thing with all of my classes, im only sad that it didnt happen before grinding so much with my WHM.

i havent done too much of the really serious end-game, like ex, though i have tried garuda multiple times, or even t5. the reason being, everybody wants to do it only with people who already know how, and i dont. i wont listen to someone whine and complain because i dont know how to do those things yet, even in i use DF. its not worth it to me

No in SCoB you can loot as many things as you want.

In a day if you really wanted. Myth pieces can be bought for 20-30 allied seals.

I don't mean to be rude, but you can't ask SE to stop progression because you're new. If that was the case progression would stop completely because there's new people constantly. There's a reason they progressively "nerf" raids, it's to make them more accessible for the new player base, while introducing higher level content to pacify the old player base.

You play game slowly. But you should understand that there are people who play this game fast. People already complains that "there is nothing in patch for them" as they are at ilvl110 and patch brings literally nothing for them for next 3 months.
How do you explain another 3 month delay of actual content for people who have their main spec geared to ilvl110, who cleared SCoB 2 months ago and who earns several millions gil per week and thus not really interested in you playing "catch-up for fun" game.

I don't want to be rude - but if you really want to pass through SCoB without echo - you always have an option to gather like-minded people and turn off echo in raid (yes, you can do it). It's not a reason why others should wait for ever singly person who wants to do *hardcore* raids in *casual* manner.

People already swallowed that after a "hardcore" patch (with all those new gear and ilvl increase) follows casual and catch-up patch for those who are less able and to balance out population before next upgrade. Now you are trying to force onto these people that they should wait in progression not only a mild hardcore crowd, but for casuals as well.

Oh, no, I wasn't asking them to do that all I was just pointing at that to me, the progression seems to be going by rather quick. I'm not new like a new penny new, I've been around since Febuary, so that makes almost 7 months of playing and it just seems like the gear grind has been going by reall quick, so, as someone who is hoping to reach gear completion by 2.4, I thought it be a bit dull to finally get to the end and then start the grind over again, but like I said, that's just personal play style and opinion.

I pointed out very clearly in the first post that I understand that in regards to newer and older players, there will never be equal progression ^_^ That's a simple fact I was only worried that it seemed like progression was going too fast. Which is why I really liked the suggestion someone made of them adding more lower ilevel gear with different stats, in addition to adding higher level gear but keeping the ilevel just a bit higher than what we have now.

    OP,
You said yourself you enjoy playing the game at your own pace and leasure, which is perfectly fine. But you can't expect to do that and have the game's progression slow enough to get BiS at that same pace. This is two different playstyles.
---There are lots of tools in place to boost and gear a role to be able to participate in current content with each patch for those that do take their time. (Echo, CT, Myth/Soldiery)
---And there is ilevel raises and new gear for those that ever want the best pieces here and now.

For most vet players 6months between ilevel raises is already long, for new players and slow pacers everything prior to the actual best is easily obtainable in a matter of a few hours in a couple weekends.
