it's 700k in tonberry
seems like nutkin is the most expensive minion though, browsed market board earlier and they were sold for 2 million+
The only reason why I think it should be raised is due to the lack of people doing BL HM, people no longer spam that for soldiery, it went from 700k to 2m in my server after 2.3 came out.
Worked hard? there is nothing hard about running spamflox. It's a time sink, time sinks are not hard by any means, they are just simply as they are named, time sinks. It's all luck, nothing more or less. What's stupid isn't the drop rate.
What's stupid is that people can sell it once it does drop.
Minions should be untradable so that if you see someone with a rare minion, you know that person worked hard for it or got incredibly lucky, and not "heh, he probably bought it..."

True, but I think it's the fact that YOU got lucky enough to find it; YOU got lucky enough to roll high on it; and YOU potentially put in the hours it took to get the little bugger. In my eyes, that would be what makes it special, and the feeling of "hard work". Just my opinion though.

Not sure why people get so worked up over something not game changing or breaking I guess, just personally doesn't make much sense to me if they kept the drop rate the same or upped it. Like if they added SCOB stuff to BCOB then I'd be upset, but a minion? Again that's my opinion and since it's not even in things like SCOB I really don't see why anyone would get upset if the drop rate is upped.True, but I think it's the fact that YOU got lucky enough to find it; YOU got lucky enough to roll high on it; and YOU potentially put in the hours it took to get the little bugger. It's a fabricated sense of superiority. I got the same kind of responses when I asked for the Bluebird rate to be raised back in December. People seem to think that something needing to be done hundreds of times makes it "hard" and that it being "hard" makes it worth getting. By thinking something should be "hard", it makes them better than other people who, in their own words, want "hand outs". It's the generic response you can expect to anything like this on these forums. Not sure why people get so worked up over something not game changing or breaking I guess, just personally doesn't make much sense to me if they kept the drop rate the same or upped it. I have a Bluebird now. Would I be upset if they raised the drop rate? No. I wouldn't care in the slightest. Why? Because somebody else having a minion doesn't change my life in the slightest. But like I said, people take any little opportunity to be perceived as better than their peers they can get.
"You should work for your minions!" is just another way of saying "You want everything for nothing", a flawed argument in the first place but completely irrelevant for something like this.
There's a minion in Brayflox? I've done hundreds of runs and this is news to me
This was only a rumor that was proven false by people who locked the Opo opo out and still got the drop. It's just a rare minion
To be fair the Nutkin is probably rarer then the Bluebird. You have to get the unhidden map to drop AND it's a rare drop from the unhidden map. (I wish my RNG in this game was as good as it was in WoW. 2 rare (sub 3% drop rate) mounts in a week makes me smile)
