    Monsters Death Penalty

    To start off with I'd like to ask a quick question " Can some monsters also use Raise and Resurrect abilities?

    Now to the main point I'll get right to the issue at hand, Devs! I want see someday monsters having The Death Penalty as well . Since players are getting it it might not be such a bad idea to evening the playing field and share the love! as you go .

    of course since mob death and character death are very different but also similar; Edit: [KO] and the function itself, the penalty would differ greatly.

    the characters get (Weakness & Brink of Death)
    the monsters get (Restraint & Death Rage), as it has been used before in games it is a decent feature so let it be in ffxiv as well, or something.

    Their Death Penalty is that they die and they don't come back

    This makes my brain hurt. You want monster to suffer a penalty upon respawning?

    As for the raising....it would be kinda cool if an enemy party could revive fallen allies forcing you to bring down the healer first.

    (Revive Abilities) is Acceptable but the (Penalty) is Unacceptable?.... you've got to except the good with the bad. On one hand if a monster could use [Resurrection] or [Raise] it's (*good) it would help make some battles more engaging and fun right?, on the other hand monsters get a penalty for reviving allies is (*bad)?, . . . . Contradiction!, this is not bad at all. If my logic is mistaken enlighten me please.

    Here's an Example of what I think possibly might work:
    ( HP 25% Decreased , Attack Power 25% Increased)

    i like this idea but only on intelligent mobs or magical and used on links/party with restrictions to only be used once per mob. Of course not allowing us to get full SP from revived one again

    mine too, but it's got to be said.. as the penalty triggers during battle when an revive ability is used. and I did say respawn yes but rethinking that's when it [death] happens, when the battle ends, . . . mmm this is hard.

    For most mobs, I'd say no.

    However, it could be fun to have some parties of Beastmen / Humanoid mobs with a healer in them capable of raising fallen party members.

    Skeletons "Feign death" with low HP to catch you off guard, it also regenerates any incapacitated limbs IE: Head.
