A la FFXI Wings of the Goddess.

You go sign up for a Grand Company, you participate in regular hamlet defenses and territorial battles against the beastmen tribes and the Garlemald Empire.

You earn rank and prestige.

Pretty simple.

Oh and make it so that Isghard also has a Grand Company too. I don't like the other three cities.

You can turn behest into campaign. Add beastmen, allow them to take over the aetheryte and the camp. No camp, no leve!

If Yoshida had kept Tanaka's view for leves this could work well, it would make people want to do behest to keep the camp, the only problem would be the camps people dont use which would never be under our control because people wouldnt see the point in keeping them
