Ramuh Extreme is bugged after 29/7 maintenance???

Just now me and few LS friends were practicing Ramuh Extreme and using solo tank method. Sometimes the chaotic strike targeted our MT and this was never happened before the maintenance. Have everyone tried Ramuh Extreme after the maintenance and experieced this? Or it is just RNG or this fight is really bugged now? The chaotic strike never targets the MT right?

the only thing i have to contribute to this, why would a player be exempt from being attacked? what about that makes sense? "hes main tank, he cant get hit by this", even though the tanks job is to get hit with everything they can while staying alive.

I have not done ramuh extreme but there are some attacks that will not target the current tank (Titan landslide/gaol for example) so if it's a similar situation it may very well be bugged

I'm sure it's working as intended. Chaotic Strike can target anybody. You just got really good RNG before today.

Edit: To be fair, if it isn't a bug and duo tank the Main Tank doesn't get hit. The Solo Tanking method might trigger Ramuh to target the Main Tank anyway.

If you've never done the fight, why even voice your opinion? Chaotic strike does not usually target the main tank. At least, not before this patch. I dislike that this forum is plagued by the opinions of the ignorant.

What about Levithan Extreme? He has a pretty nasty bug I had happen to me last night: After he dives down and prepares for spinning dive instead of going across as usual, Leviathan's head will respawn with that little purple aura, and you won't have any clue where to run to avoid the boat slam. That's something that /really/ should be fixed

Sometimes it does, but normally MT get freed from Ramuh himself by his Auto attack.
It was before the patch and will be after... nothing changed, but out of 8 players its not usual that MT will be a target.

I've seen this bug, I think it's when you get a lag spike. But it is new.

I thought Chaotic Strike was based on proximity to the boss? Was the tank running away from Ramuh to pick up an orb when it happened?

Chaotic Strike targets the farthest person away, as well as one random non-tank. So this may very well be the case if they were running a single-tank setup.
