Thanks for not changing hunts! I love the hunts the way it is and if you listened to those silly people saying hunts suck, hunt would probably get really boring.

... you mean to say they're not boring now? I have more fun spiritbinding off of low level mobs that I aoe pull than running around aimlessly with a group looking for an elite that will die just as fast. Neither offers any sense of difficulty and are essentially no different in how you treat them. Killing an elite is like winning on a slot machine. If you constantly win, you start to not give a damn.

Well... the best is, that this isnt a fix, its just a cheap workaround because they could not fix the issue with the RNG they just made shure it doesnt happen twice in a row! Having a true RNG it is possible to happen twice in a row, but the default one SE seems to use is not a "true" RNG...

I tend to roam the world looking for beautiful views and weird stuff to take fun/cute/nice screenshots. And now I can do that AND look for hunts at the same time.
So yeah it's one of the things I enjoy the most in the game.

Edit: But then again I'm one of the few persons who seem to enjoy atma farming too...

Someone didn't read the dev post about random numbers I believe...

How do you figure that they're not using a real PRNG anyway? Do you want same elite mark weekly twice or more in a row? It happened already and they added code to make sure it's not the same two weeks in a row...

Do you think 3 weekly elite marks is enough to draw conclusions about the nature of the RNG used?

If you want to argue random numbers, go to that thread...

Regardless of what kind of RNG you use, you CAN get 3 fails in a row at 99%, and 3 HQ's in a row at 1%.

What's questionable is that they DID say that the RNG system for the weekly hunt was working as intended after we got 2 Nauls... preventative and/or coverup theories go wild!

Hell, I don't even mind the maintenance, really. It's just that they have to know by now that hunts are borked. They then say they're going to "be making adjustments", getting people's hopes up, then have it turn out to be next to nothing. The fact they had this fission mailed on my day off was just the cherry on top.
