Maybe it just takes more time to put in fixes for the real issues... inconceivable, right?Won't make a difference what the weekly mark is. Same ppl gonna farm and time it and players outside hunt linkshells won't get their weekly done.
Not sure why SE are turning a blind eye to the real issues. If the majority are the zerg and the zerg pays their monthly sub ..ohh I get it. The mob rules.
Ok I'll wear the hat you handed me... yes it is inconceivable. They should have pulled all seals and sands from all the zergers after the first week of horrid behaviour, and put a cap on seals, as well as substantially increased daily rewards for people who chose not to join 4 hunt linkshells and stay wired to coordinates and timers all day and night. They should also have abolished the precisely predictable spawn timers and made the spawns truly random, so players who stumble upon these mobs could kill them without the travelling circus on their tail shouting abuse and blacklisting.

I think that would make too much sense to work.
And you can only imagine the amount of rage and QQ the forums will have if SE did a rollback..
Bingo, SE has to save face and stand by the system they implemented. A lot of players love taking advantage of milking The Hunt and SE isn't going to upset those players any time soon. The rest can just go spiritbond in ST, do frontlines for a horse, garden or blow a HQ 98%.
Pulling seals and sands would require rollback on a LOT of characters, which simply isn't practical, and would have resulted in a huge backlash...Ok I'll wear the hat you handed me... yes it is inconceivable. Daily Hunt they should boost rewards on already and it shouldn't require more than changing a value, and I've said that before this hotfix as well.
However, not everything can be "fixed" just by changing a value...
Yes you're absolutely right. Obviously a rollback was never going to happen, the severity of the situation should have warranted SE to close the gap asap between the linkshell farmers and would be chance hunters who never get to see a Hunt mob because they don't have the spreadsheet link.Pulling seals and sands would require rollback on a LOT of characters, which simply isn't practical, and would have resulted in a huge backlash...

Wth, weren't they supposed to increase the allied seals from the Hunt Board, Yoshi DID SAY THEY WOULD. What is this some kind of joke? Still 7 daily seals from dailies? I'm lately getting disappointed for moments.
I wouldn't expect that until 2.35 really... I had hopes they would do it fast, but apparently they're still thinking about it...
Unless they did change that too and it's just not listed in the notes.
He was about as vague as a bored Dog.
You can't ignore it because this will ruin the power balance of what's accepted among the community.Thing is for the moment dont let hunts rule your game life, it's nice to get seals when you can. I can only recommend if you see a mark unclaimed go for it, it's your right to try and kill it for full credit. If someone resets it, or harasses you, report them for griefing.
If you're not up to par for given reason, you will be scorched from head to toe from the community. If you're now expected to be i110 because getting allied seals was so easy for the upper 10%, it ruins the experience for the less fortunate.

You're underestimating Square Enix. It wouldn't take them 3 weeks to put dynamic HP on Hunt mobs, put a weekly cap on seals and on sands. Of all the thing they decided to put the server down for, it's this. I really hope there are ninja changes when the server comes back up else this would be quite disappointing.
