Lack of a Seasonal Event for the summer.

It is giving yukata and kimono this year. If you go here http://xivdb.com/ and go to the 2.3 patch at the end of the added items they have the yutakta and kimono.

After looking it also shows new swimsuits so might get both.

I looked through all of the items and only saw yukatas. Did you see kimonos elsewhere?

Yes an event is long overdue. Miss the piles of events that were coming out left and right months ago.

As for why it seemed that for the first eight months or so of service in ARR that there was pretty much a special event nearly every month, because there wasn't just the return of 1.0 events like Heavensturn and Hatchingtide, there were also the crossover events for FFXI, FFXIII and Dragon Quest Online that also occured, so it pretty much crammed a whole heap of events together in a short time. Now that those events are over, it now seems there's nothing happening. But Moonfire Faire will be here soon so don't worry, you'll get your seasonal event fix soon enough.

I'm glad there aren't that many events. As much as I enjoy them it becomes overwhelming.

Don't want an ugly ass bath robe anyway. Only interested in swim suits.

I wouldn't mind another swimsuit but, man am I tired of the endless parade of teeny weeny bikinis. I'd like to see a little more variety. A one-piece would be a refreshing change.

If it's the choice between a Yukata and YET ANOTHER BIKINI (with polka-dots this time!!1!), I'll definitely take the Yukata.

I always enjoy the Seasonal Events. Pretty stoked for the upcoming one. Makes me remember Summerfest in XI
