There have been so many responses already in this thread to what you just said.

This isn't about "sexual content", that's not what LGBT-friendly FC's are about. Sexual Orientation is not sexual content. It's about safely being able to say "I went to the cinema with my boyfriend today" without having homophobes tell you how they think you're the crap they stepped on on the pavement. There's a crapload of homophobia in gaming, and LGBT people want a safe place to play and enjoy their games without discrimination.

It can work the other way, too. In my prior FC, I mentioned something along the lines of needing to pick up my boyfriend. Everyone went insane with questions: "Who's the 'girl' in the relationship?" "Have you ever tried being with a woman?" "What does it feel like?" Even though I told them I was uncomfortable with all the questions they were asking me, they kept at it. Though I genuinely think they were just curious since they didn't know anyone who was gay before and they weren't intentionally being rude, it definitely bothered me and I left the FC right then and there.

I bet most FCs out there wouldn't make a big deal out of it, but LGBT-friendly FCs ensure that we can make remarks like "I need to pick my boyfriend up from work" without it turning into a spectacle.

I'm sure heterosexuals would be delighted to join your guild knowing they're called "breeders"...NOT. That doesn't sound as though you "have rules in place to protect all member". Seems that you need reminding to respect people whatever their sexual preferences....and refrain from practicing reverse sexism.
