    -Hunts wouldn't be effected you say? It's impossible even with TODs that people could farm every hunt mob, randomizing the spawn timers to an extent or even moving to a lottery spawn system could easilly crush this worry outright.

    Why wait for the expansion to change this? I asked what negatives you could tell me if the system was just whole hog removed and all I see is.

    -People don't want to walk
    -You don't think it would help hunts

    I'm not going to list them...but I'm sure I could list a few more positives than you did negatives, and for god sakes we don't need the game to place any more "Caps" on seals or what players are allowed to do. The game allready full of caps and limitations of the developers telling us how we should play.

    A lack of teleports would also make a load of the quests rather sadistic.

    ...Let's just say even with teleports those quests are painfull.

    On that point I'm always perplexed as to why some quests have multiple NPC's standing beside eachother that you need to talk to individually to complete a entire conversation, it's even worse when it's split between several cutscenes they should have just spliced into one!

    Quests should follow a logical course of

    -Start point A
    -Quest objective B
    Turn in location C

    Don't overly use backtracking to other NPC's just because they aren't present in the final location. Nobody would treck across the world to send a message, just to treck all the way back to tell them that the guy got the message, christ the linkpearl network is a system they use in the game and quests...use the damn thing instead of making us prance allover the place.

    Hell why can't we accept a quest from a NPC and unless we need to actually return to them for some important reason (Turn in a item or something) Why can't we report the quest complete to them via linkpearl?

    transport is there if you want to use it. if you feel transport limit your experience you don't have to use it. why would you limit other players to fit your play experience.

    Because ITT, the universe revolves around them. If they don't like something it obviously has to go! Damn the X million other players, who cares about them? If only we were more sensitive to the fact that the people who want teleports removed have a gun pointed at their head and are being told to teleport or die. If only they had the choice not to teleport! D'oh!

    Nobody sensable is Demanding that teleportation be removed. We are however tossing around our ideas as to why we think it would be a good thing. Is there a problem with this.

    It's not hostility. I'm pointing out where most of this stems from. It's been said many times that nobody has to teleport yet people keep arguing a case for it's removal. If you don't want to use it, don't. You can make that choice with no detriment to anyone who doesn't want teleports removed. It's selfish for people to say "I don't want to use teleports so please remove them" and yes, several people have said just that. Riled? I'm not riled at all. You just don't read irony very well my friend.

    You know very well that's not what people are saying at all.
    The very aspect of teleports is damaging to content, specifically the overcrowded hunts and general use of an overworld as an overworld and not just a collection of small hub points.
    That's why some people are asking for its removal/nerf. To make more prominent content better, not to hurt you personally.
