The 'w' for Warau is used in nearly every text platform for Japanese. Emoticons already exist in JP as Kaomoji, so this won't do anything to change their use of 'w'.

Wakatta. Even if its used by other apps or text platforms, as Kaomoji, doesn't mean something cannot be done here: instead of chatting and typing wwwwwwwwwww, it could be converted into one of these.



So if you'd type #Angry, and Angry emote would appear when pressing Enter.

All in all, it's a suggestion to counter RMTs.. What do you propose instead?
