From my understanding the first round was suppose to have serious pictures. And I don't find any of them sexy. Yes they're wearing bathing suits and have serious looks on their faces...but that doesn't always equate to sexy. Lol. The latter part of your post does prove that she was discriminated against for being lalafell; maybe you don't think that's discrimination but I do.

Everyone, i appreciate the input on the controversial elimination of Aila in the first round. It was infact me who first brought up the concern she was being voted out simply for being a Lalafel who dared to wear a bikini. For whatever reason you all voted her, it was my fault that it happened due to the voting system I implemented. This has been changed, as well as 1) the exclusion of a Bikini Mandated photoshoot in Cycle 2, and 2) the invitation extended to Aila to compete once again in Cycle 2, surpassing the Audition Process. Should she accept, she will be the first model cast in Cycle 2! ^^

Also, a brief history to explain the lack of diversity in the models. I started this event on Balmung, shouting for models in Ul'dah and Mor Dhona. I accepted every single person who applied without concern of race. The models you see are the only ones who applied. Towards the end i began shouting specifically for Elezens and Roes. The two Roes, Size Queen and Big Apple, did not send their pictures by the deadline.

Cycle 2 will put a cap at 4 from each race of each Gender. "Please look forward to it!"

As for Round 1 being sexy or not, it was actually the first photoshoot due to the bikini screen shot being the stereotypical screen shot taken by most players. I thought it was "funny" to suddenly have a competition on the photos. In the future i will also include Mood descriptions for the models, indicating wether a shoot is serious, sexy, funny, etc.

So because lala's are unflattering in swimsuits/bikini's you're eliminating that theme in the next cycle? Is this not Next Top Model? I've never seen a model cry over a shoot/theme that was naturally unflattering to her and for Tyra to console and comfort her and say 'we won't do a shoot like that next time.' No she'll tell them to get over it and work your ass off to MAKE that theme flattering!

I'm sorry but in NTM it's ALL ABOUT taking your weaknesses and MAKING IT WORK! Tyra says this multiple times!
If there was a cute/bubbly theme a lala would have an advantage over a Roe, but that's not gonna stop the Roe from trying!

No, I don't agree with that decision. Nothing against Aila but she had her arms crossed, incredibly serious, picture was a little blurry, and should've done a mid-chest shot like some of the other models to partially cover up the fact she has the shape and height of a child! Lala's can have great looking eyes, use those features to cover over the flaws! Look at Valintine's bikini picture, it was the moon and her eyes that set her apart from the rest, not the bikini!

So instead of going, "boohoo poor Lala's don't look good in bikini's, let's cut out that theme..." Let's act like judges and #fierce models, overcome our weaknesses and flaws and make it work okay?

Unless they put their camera up against a wall(which will limit what kind of backgrounds they can get), Lala's cant get a mid-chest and up only shot.
