    BiS FSH + best FC buffs + best food cannot reliably catch it. Overmelds don't really matter much.

    Don't forget, they also have to lvl CUL Desynth. These fish can't be traded or sold.

    It hasn't been proven yet that these are the only fish to yield Waterproof Cotton. After all, not every Big Fish has even been found, as far as I'm aware.

    Even if they have all been found, it'll take some time to desynth enough of them to know for sure. It would be great to not need to be nearly maxed out on Gathering and Perception to actually be able to catch the Olgoi though. With food sitting at 372 Gathering and 300 Perception without FC buffs I kept losing it, ironically I caught both of mine AFTER my food wore off.... Lets also not forget the rare Heat Wave, sat out in Southern Thanalan for almost 10 hours yesterday and only saw it pop 3 times for about 20 minutes each time....
