I feel i have to step in a little here.

The Sands mentioned in the OP dont drop in Syrcus Tower, only oils (for accessories).

Second, the Unidentified Allegan Tome has a roughly 30% droprate in ST as per the developers words. That's still 24 people having 30% chance, or put diffirently, depending on your luck, a 1 in 80 chance for you to get one. The amount of Soldiery put into it make it easily a 3 week long journey alone on top of that. And that gets you the base i100 weapon. Which would still need the Sand from Coil (since hunts are such a mess only the top 1% of the playerbase might get it from there).

So other than grossly overestimating/overreacting about diffirent methods being available to get a good weapon, you could just as well do one Ramuh EX and get a nice i100 alternative weapon. Not to mention it's pretty looking as well.

And then still, why would that matter? If someone can get a i110 weapon through a diffirent method, why would that be important to you? Does it somehow make you less of a <insert job here> if someone else who you might not ever see again gets a i110 weapon and you do not? Through, i might add, a method that's openly available to you to try as well. Just realize that it's not as easy as you make it out to be.

I'm not saying Ramuh's weapons shouldnt be upgradable or higher in power, but the "alternatives" people are refering to as easy, while denying anyone the right to say the same about Ramuh are just getting rediculous.
