thats exactly what i had thought, that you need to get crit above a certain threshold to enter a new 'tier' of crit, so to speak. An attack will either crit or it won't; the chances of it doing so would be greater with each tier. but each tier operates a range, say, between 480-510 (made up numbers, but you get my point). So having crit at 505 doesn't necessarily mean you'll do greater dps then if you had crit at 485 (using those made up numbers).

Yea, I see what you mean. I don't have an answer for that really. I mean it could be steps/tiers, or just decimals.. Say 10 crit you go from 25.625% to 26%, you probably aren't going to notice a difference in DPS. It could just be due to the RNG nature of critical hits, I've crit 5 or 6 attacks in a row, and then crit none at all for what seemed like a while. You can see the incremental difference in Det, Str and WD (even sksp), not so much with crit.

So Monks are the kings of st dps atm, that much I know. Someone on my server has been saying DRG is one of the worst st dps in the game now after BLM got buffed. I'm curious if that's even true now, so where does DRG stand in the st dps area? Other than monk, which dps are the highest/lowest st dps?

Out of like 50 attempts on t6 last night, the blm pulled ahead of me 3 times. Must have had a bunch of procs because at one point he even pulled in front of the other tank, this was a few minutes into the fight, not at the beginning. Party comp me (drg), mnk, brd and blm. The blm and I were only ones with i100 weapons, other 2 had i95 wave weapons. Not sure actual numbers, just going by the trusty threat meter.

That beein said yesterday was like 2152 dps combined for us in turn 8 (8.11 duration), dps breakdown is :

Monk 410, Drg 411, SMN 405, Blm 400, Brd 267


But on Rafflesia it was like

Monk 386, Drg 396, Smn 394, Blm 426, Brd 285 (4.19 duration)

Would be nice to beat t6 in 4:19 xD

I've spent at least 20 hours on t6, still no clear. Seen 3%-8% health about 6 times over this last weekend.. Very frustrating.

That's interesting how close your numbers are there Sygmaelle. Wait a sec, 5 dps? Are you solo tanking or solo healing t6?

Think our monk got ilvl110 weapon and same for the blm, Ill soon be behind (that said our blm is full bis except HA weapon)

Yea our blm has Novus (i103ish I think), in our attempts last night his best run was at my average.. I don't know much about blm though, mine's still level 30 lol

Could have been faster, our silly blm teleported on the tank at a bad moment and got one shotted by the cleave but yeah until then he was rockin 426 in combat dps

Hi, can I ask you if these numbers are DPS or EncDPS data?
