Giving High Quality items to Gerolt?

Does giving Gerolt a high quality weapon get you a higher quality relic weapon than if you give him a normal one?

Also when you do the relic +1 upgrade, does the weapon lose any extra gain from high quality if any?

nope, it doesn't..or I think it doesn't. Didn't change anything when I turned in my HQ item to Gerolt..

An hq weapon trade in doesnt have any affect on the quality of the relic. With that said I've made several weapons for friends and for sale and i hq'd them as i take pride in what i make.

Unfortunately there is no "bonus" to trading a HQ weapon to the drunkard. Can you imagine the market for HQ base weapons if that were the case!

Sadly it isn't, they aren't even worth trading in for leves anymore either since the nerf.

Excuse me? I think the difference between a 67,146 reward and a 134,292 reward are most definitely worth the trouble.
