The Wandering Carbuncle of Revenant's Toll

Instead of ACN/SMN just switching out their original pets for Carbuncles, I would much rather see Carbuncle get added as a SMN's egi, with a revised moveset, after more egi get added and they hopefully get more diverse.

I do like the fact that it shows Carbuncle is at least somewhat sentient, smart enough to hide from its master, and capable of summoning and dismissing itself. It makes me want to know more about what Carbuncle actually is.

I somewhat doubt it is able to summon itself, but it is obvious that he is capable of wandering off on his own. The two of them are cute and amusing.

I was paying attention! I kept waiting and waiting for her to return at a later point in the story but I never saw her again
And then they announced Tam-tara Hard, which made me go "...waaaaait a second". And then the description turned up on the preview site and patch notes and I was convinced.

So yes, I am waiting for something that involves the two of them. (And hoping it will be a cute story).
