My favorite thing about FFXIV:

The sheer flexibility and brilliance of the class system. Sword-wielding mage or axe-wielding healer, archer with support magic or whatever you can think of. It is awesome.

How I would improve my favorite thing about FFXIV:

More weapons and caster types. I would like a summoner or "pet" class, maybe a greatsword, harp or instrument, maybe differentiate dagger from sword, 2 weapon fighting and maybe even a class that learns abilities from beasts etc. (blue mage)

My least favorite thing about FFXIV:
Haven't seen any real "dungeon crawls" yet. I would like to see something like that content-wise. I am more accostomed to this kind of thing. Boss monsters are typically really fun to kill and help get people into groups that would otherwise not be together. I think it would be a great opportunity for new players to integrate into the game if there were tiered dungeons to crawl in every region.

How I would improve my least favorite thing about FFXIV:

The best element of the game is definitely the armory system. Even if it needs some balancing here and there, it's a breath of fresh air in a stagnant MMORPG market.

The game needs a lot of work in many areas, but it definitely needs content more than anything else. So that's what I would add (between other things).

The Armory System is a neat idea in concept, but as it exists now it sucks all sense of individuality out of all the classes.

Perhaps if SE removed the feature for classes to share abilities with each other, it would be fixed.

I doubt removing the core of a feature is the smartest way to "fix" that feature.

I started playing again and I have to say the community has vastly improved on my server. People talk to each other and everyone is so willing to help you out with anything you need. Behests are always full at Camp Horizon on Besaid, I love to see that there are a lot of people enjoying the game while they wait for the updates.

There are a lot of things I feel are in sore need of updating, but I've posted all of so them many times that I feel it's counter-productive to continue complaining about them.

How I would improve my favorite thing about FFXIV: add chat animations race and clan spesific emote and chat animations, along with style based on mood.
My least favorite thing about FFXIV: Market ward rooms
How I would improve my least favorite thing about FFXIV: make them open are with better organization be having stalls be free or pre placed. and have pre made stall location throught said open air zone. Maybe add one market ward area similar to the chocobo racing. To make shoping ease instead of have ghosting. (similar happen in ffxi when jeuno was the main city and town AH's became barren)
