That would be interesting but if I remember right, Guados don't have tails and have massive hands, so I don't think so.

Are we sure they're bunnies? I seem to recall yugiris tail looking suspiciously reptilian.

I figured she was a Bangaa or similar. The ears and tail fit, though the face shape is suspect.

Yugiri having the same animation set as female Miqo'tes can be attributed to the fact that the new race (if there's going to BE a new race) is still in development, and they haven't produced new animations for that race. We can't assume that Yugiri's animations are going to be what the finished race is going to have. Making Yugiri was easy. Take a Miqo'te model, switch out the cat tail for a lizard tail, and add a funny head. That'll keep the forums in an uproar for months!

That said, I think you're right. If they do add a lizard race (or any new kind of animal race), it will probably look human-with-animal-bits, just like the Miqo'te, rather than anything flat-out monstrous-looking, like the Banga or Seeq.

Yes, the new race will almost surely have a new unique animation set, but I was pointing out that the choice of using Miqo'te animations might be more well thought that it could seem: since SE must have already had in mind the race base design for a very long time and since Doma uses Ninjas as its main military force, it could very well be that Domans will be light and agile humanoids, just like Miqo'tes.

Sorry for reviving kind of an old thread, I just really want to throw in my two cents. :P

I personally think the new race is an Armadillo-like humanoid. I say this because of the plate/armor/scale on her tail, and the tuft of hair just at the base of her tail. Much like an armadillo:

My guess is they're adding a race with defense as a natural stat.

ETA she could also be a new take on the Bang'aa, given her ears. And scales.
