Tried out the Krakka + Mandrake to get some Onions Princes, the krakka roots yielded an Onion Prince Each, however the mandrakes yielded both the Mimett Gourd and the Onion Prince.

Nice, but I don't have a lot of use for lily.. Broombush and Royal kukuru I burn through, so I think I will stick to that method.

Quick question for anyone who knows, is getting 9 seeds instead of 1 a result of that specific intercross (using Honey Lemons) or a result of using Shroud Soil 3? Or something else entirely?

And if it's by using the Shroud Soil, anyone know roughly the % chance of intercross using that soil?

I tried this for this last attempt at getting Curiel root seeds. In an 8-spot plot i planted alternating Chamomile and Krakka, used Grade 3 Shroud soil on the Krakka, and only one of the four produced seeds but it gave me 9 at once and I still got the 18 krakka. Previously planting the same two plants with Thanalan soil only gave me one seed when they were produced. It's a low chance with Shroud soil but I think it's worth it considering how absurdly fast Krakka grows and was likely something SE decided to do in order to make it so Thanalan soil isn't the only soil worth using.

Planted a King Tomato Seed with Shroud soil to be cheeky. Only one pet attained.. teehee.

I think we have a good grasp on where most stuff comes from now, so unless I get something new, I'm done updating for a while. I have my thavnairian onion and my pearl roselle! So happy for now! Love this thread btw! Thanks for all the hard work and sharing everyone does here

just harvested all 8 plants tantal and mimett gourde = 0 seeds so don't waste the attempts

just planted 4 kukuru x 4 sylis using grade 3 thanalan soil will post results on completion

I think it's safe to say at this point that any two chocobo foods just make gysahls.

Some how i missed this but I got pearl roselle from Shroud tea seeds adjacent star anise and jute.


I Probably should replant this combo to confirm. I think i was asleep when I harvested

Was this replanted/confirmed?

I planted a garden of Shroud Tea + Star Anise and got Jutes all around...
so I'm guessing it was Shroud Tea + Jute that gave the Pearl Roselle?
