    Wasn't there a thread or two complaining the game had no teeth? I see no problem making a DoL have to worry about where he/she is. Besides hunt targets die in two seconds anyway.. not like the monster is a inconvenience for long.

    Besides to make them not attack DoH is like someone walking around and someone tries to steal a wallet and said person stops them saying they are pedestrian and not a cop.. see how much sense this makes?

    Yeah, the game STILL has no teeth. -_-;; By adding NOTHING to discourage players from zerging every Hunt NM (whether it be complicated instant-death mechanics, or a cap on Allied Notes, or limit hunt rewards to only players bearing an Elite Mark Bill for that target, or any of a bazillion other possible fixes folks have discussed), every Hunt NM is zerged, dies in minutes or even seconds upon discovery, and provides no threat at all.

    Situations like that experienced by the OP are rare, and when they DO happen the solution is easy and obvious: Just shout, "Hunt Mob Z found at X?? Y??", wait two minutes (get a soda, or go to the bathroom or something), and the mob will be cleared and gone. You can then get back to work!

    I'm glad they added dangerous mobs into the game. After the hype dies down from hunts, these mobs will stick around.
    I can't wait until things get even more dangerous.

    That's what stealth is for. Sorry that that's such an inconvenience for you.

    Judging by your sig, you played XI, this should NOT be new to you.

    However, in XI when a mob spawned you were given a few seconds to react before it would aggro you....now if that were the case in XIV that'd be nice. You get aggro from mobs a split second before they spawn in this game.

    You can't do that if you're already targeted which OP mentioned. And there are no safe spots for B and A. They spawn random, so if it pops RIGHT behind you and you get aggro you're gonna die.

    IMO this is more troublesome:



    The elite spawned on someone with the "new adventurer" status.
