Ramuh will eventually be the pre-req for some other primal in the future, so technically, it is progression enough.
Point being, it was being tracked for others to see where other FC's stand. From the days of Ifrit HM to ramuh X, they were being tracked. As for your definition of progression, does it come down to saying we shall not include any other set of content from previous fights like ultima or older Extremes? Then why have ANY of it tracked at all? Why, simple. It is for others to see where a FC stands in content. Period. Why track the extreme mode fights if the weapons in T5 were better? -drops the mic-
Resurgence haven't downed Ramuh (or Levi/mog ex, according to this thread). Bunch of baddies. Definitely can't compete with Ramuh server first FC.
Its funny how nanaki points out ramuh as being progression, yet everyone is taking it as "ha ha, suck it we are better than you!" But sure, take it as you want. It is obvious that some people don't know what a joke is. Purple made a joking comment as "hope no one claims server first ramuh" -goes to check their groups progress and noticed their primal kills had server first marks- sure, challenge accepted. But I guess it doesn't count if some random group that was thrown together a month and a half into 2.2 does anything that can be joking if it hurts the pride of another fc... seems a bit childish to me. Kinda like, it only counts if we do it. Well, we know where you stand on the matter and I ain't gonna waste more time arguing with butthurt children over what was meant to be a joke. Seeing as most groups are restructuring for 2.4 due to scheduling reasons or personal reasons, we will just see you there. Maybe by then you can was that salt off and grow up a bit. Strange how when you go readpages 1 and 2, you see people claiming server first on other primals.

It's good to know that our small discussion on the status of progression turned into a show of pride and shot firing from you all of a sudden; I'm gonna have to ask you to put your e-peen back in your pants cause I think you're trying to compensate for something.
How do I post a picture of my D without getting banned from forums?

So I believe all 8 man raid content including savage mode coils should be included in this forum. This information is rather nice to have to see what FC’s are active and gives an opportunity to congratulate them on their accomplishments.
As far as server firsts go, I think this goes agonist the main purpose of this forum, maybe we should consider stop tracking this kind of stuff? The difficulty of encounters changes drastically, and if we are trying to compare progression like players do in WoW… no serious guild ever cared about progression with normal modes, because those server first went to any player willing to wake up early and bash their head agonist any easy encounter until it falls over. Are they skilled players? Who knows, it’s impossible tell because the encounter is too easy.

Since FFXIV is still kind of a new game, it’s not really clear what an easy encounter is and what’s not. My opinion is an encounter you have the minimum item level to clear it with and the main way to get above the minimum item level is to clear it or get items from a time gated resource (tomestones). In this case the only hard encounters have been coils. Now it’s not really for me to say what’s hard and what’s easy, I think anyone will have varying opinions on this type of stuff.

My point is that people should post on this forum and track their fc’s progression. We as gaming community should congratulate them as we’ve done in the past. Players that care about stuff like server first and which fight is super hard and which isn’t, can just track it themselves.
I don’t think this forum provides any indication of which statics are more skilled then others so don’t use it like it does. There are groups that progress at the same rate, but one of them may only raid 6hrs a week and the others raid 30hrs a week. This information isn’t posted on these forums and I think this shows a great deal of difference in skill (Also no real way to track this, don’t bother claiming how long you work on fights).
