or give miners and botanis the ability to defend themselfs, without beneftiting from killing stuff though
A miner with his pickaxe could split a kobold skull np, or crash some ixali kneecaps with his sledghammer.
A Botanist could scythe through a goobues legs and gut a gobblin with his sickle.
Why should an NM of all things care if you are a Miner or a Warrior, both wield weapons that could deal massive damage if it hits the same spot.
Than again, some Hunt NM know for sure what you are wielding. That again might be why a goobbue NM would enrage agro a botanist and a coblyn enrage agro a miner (and a sahagin enrage agro a fisher?)
Hunts from the top down don't seem to have had any thought whatsoever put into them. Too many rewards for too little effort, too prone to exploitation, mobs fall over like wet noodles, spawn points are unfair to people not interested in hunts, people who are interested can't get any hits in on the monster.
SE needs to address hunts badly. Has there been any response from them yet? I can't believe they don't hear the noise people are making over hunts. They managed to patch up Frontlines with days - this is ongoing since the patch dropped.

Well... in 1.0 DoL does have the ability to throw rocks. Since it only does pathetically miniscule damage, I guess SE saw that as useless feature. lolor give miners and botanis the ability to defend themselfs, without beneftiting from killing stuff though

Except the zone that this spawns in is 20 - 30ish other than the area around AK? Only zones that "require" Stealth for a 50 DoL are any of the 40+ ones.
No lol the world already lacks danger, yoshi said today he dont want to make complicated mechanics for them because other players could be killed just foe being there, i thinks that's ridiculous, QoL must have a limit, that limit is when you start killing the fun and even logic just so you can walk around w/o too much hustle.
Not to mention that if the Miner/Botanist in question isn't high enough, the stealth won't do jack. Saw a level 20 botanist Stealth in South Shroud while afk only to find themselves dead due to Monarch Ogrefly. Prior to this patch they would've been entirely safe even amongst the other aggressive monsters.
Actually, do you realize that you may be the person who spawn the NM ?
If you read NM condition thread, many many of the NM condition is from gathering something in some zone, in some weather.

maybe, if it's S rank NMs. What killed me is a rank B, recalled no special condition for rank B/A to pop.
Besides, if an S rank popped beside DoL players, they would be dead with just a "touch". lol
