For those who don't craft much, furniture is pricey on the market.
I don't wanna waste cash on an item I may not like and this would help :P
Or waste time/gil to plow through crafting lvls so you can see what it looks like for "free" and realize it looks terrible lol (by free I mean, get to said lvl, make it yourself instead of paying 100k+ for market prices)

On a semi-related note, any chance there could be less "destroys when removed" furniture? It makes decorating a fc house / room less exciting when you realize that when you upgrade to a bigger house (or get a personal one), you'll lose over half your furniture.

can we dye the furniture without removing it? annoying to have to rotate and fit it back again... esp when doing combination arrangement (of multiple furniture pieces)

Also, we really need more slots so we can add the little things like lamps, books and stuff that makes the room look more "lived in"
Please Square Enix, give us more slots!

You can already do that >.> Open up the furniture placing thing, the menu on the left side, right click the furniture you want to dye in the menu and hit paint

Even if it wasn't, would you really want to lose all that crap after having gotten it? O_o

It's just furniture, so it doesn't really bother me much I guess. Deleted plenty of super-garish coil/primal furniture that my FC mates placed and never went back to. I might be more upset about losing a crafting table if I wanted to upgrade houses (and if they were actually useful), but glazenuts are cheap after the bubble burst and I have plenty of seeds still.

I think the only furniture of that type I'd really feel something about removing is the ADS Illuminant, and as a fixture that's its fate no matter what, so...

How about being able to change/paint the supporting pillars on the walls?
They really clash with a lot of wallpaper.

LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.

And the same dye comes out as different shades on different furnishings (I guess it depends on the base that's being painted)!

Also, will there be options for some furnishing items to be dyeable in the future? Most of the manor furnishings are, and they're beautiful, but then you place manor wardrobes and they can't be dyed and are an ugly brown colour!
