    Bonus points were essentially the exact opposite of a bonus. Anytime you saw "you have earned x bonus points" you really lost x SP and gained nothing.

    How is that not lying?

    Regardless of whether or not certain rewards are given, bonus, as shown clearly by the definition, suggests a benefit or something extra being received.
    Well, as I said, you did get your extra special yellow EXP indicator. And who knows? Perhaps it was just a typo, and they actually meant bogus EXP in the first place, hahahahahaha!!!!

    Actually, now. He/she can well have a theory without telling you the exact backgrounds of why he/she has it. It would be polite or informative to do so, but is not really required. You could also say: "In the middle ages, there was a theory that the world was slapped together within 7 days by some supernatural being". Why someone would believe such things does not necessarily have to be mentioned...
