Actually Rockstar holding off the PC version was more about taking advantage of the sheer power that PCs are capable of and create a much more stunning world with increased features that consoles lack the memory to handle.
That or to beta test it with the consoles to see what hacks can be put into place by players, so that by PC release they can have a good handle on things to try, and I say try to prevent or severely hamper PC hacks/mods. As PC games are much more easily hacked and/or manipulated than console games. But I think we all know what is going to happen.
Oh right because they just love releasing a game and seeing it turn up on a torrent site the same day. Trust me this was a good strategy and it paid off GTA made it's money and now they get to double dip.

Hate to burst your bubble, but GTA V was making its way around torrent trackers the same day. PC gamers aren't the only ones capable of pirating software.
Hate to burst your bubble but PC Pirates out weigh console 10 to 1 possibly more or do you think PS3/360 sales were fixed? seriously there isn't even a comparison here no mod chip no tools or work arounds for PC just software patches. Sorry I didn't take your comment seriously enough.
Whether or not PC pirates outnumber console pirates is beside the point. Your argument was that PC games end up on torrent trackers the same day; the fact is that: no matter what, if the software has traction behind it, it will end up on a tracker. But, then, you don't actually have an argument against that. Probably why you had to fall back to, "PCs hav moar pirats then consules derp." So, again: hate to burst your bubble, but pirating is suffered on all mediums. You can take your 2-bit condescension and stow that while you're at it.

Would you get a clue I have a high end PC and a PS4 and I can tell you no one is stupid enough to hack on PS4 when PC is so easy. Are you seriously trying to compare? Please don't reply you are too ignorant to have a conversation about this.Whether or not PC pirates outnumber console pirates is beside the point. The conversation seems pretty pointless anyway. You need a mogstation account with a valid game key, and game keys can't be pirated. The whole conversation is pointless in the context of FFXIV.
And that op's glorious consoles were hacked and tons of people cheat on GTAO its funny to think they think consoles stop cheating... Cheaters will always find a way if op had their way in 6 months we will be playing FFXIV paper edition and we will still have cheaters.
