    Suggestion: Role Duty Finder election

I suggest you allow players to select a role to que up for Duty Finder. TANK--HEALER---DPS. Which ever role is more needed, add that player to the party, and of course, that player won't be able to commence till the player switches to that specific role. Hope this helps with the long que.

    Thank you

We have that. You can queue up as a tank, a healer or as a dps. Unless you're asking to be signed up as several roles at once.

It's not going to make queue's much better. Tanks are going to sign up as Tank or DPS. Healers are going to sign up as Healers and DPS, and DPS are just going to sign up as DPS. It will effectively make the DPS queue only longer since no one wants to deal with the stress of tanking or healing if they can choose not to.

People that like to tank, and/or want to tank at that specific time, will queue up as tanks. There's only a finite amount of people that do. And with the hostile enviroment that people are choosing to create, there's far more of your Tanks and Healers just queue'ing up as DPS instead already.

If you want to fix the queue's, fix the community. Once people are no longer forced to do speedruns, or are the focus of all the blame when there's nothing they can do about it, then the queue's will lighten up again.

Agreed. One of the main reasons I will not level a tank in this game is because I dont feel like being in charge in the game. I dont want to have to learn the layout of every dungeon, or be required to explain to everyone how and what to do or be responsible for all sorts of stuff tanks are responsible for. If it was XI and it was an EXP party where I only needed to know the mobs for that stretch of levels is fine with me...but having to know the layout, do the pulling, be the leader, etc...etc...no thanks. Too much for what equates through repeating the same garbage over and over and over again and is only moderately fun at best.

Here is the a scenario of why I believe it would be a great idea. Right now, all we can do is que up for one class in Duty Finder. Tank-DPS-Healer. If you're a player with several classes, you wouldn't mind having to select ALL roles just to get in a que faster. The only way we can tell if the online community is in need of a certain class right now is by looking at the Bonus rewards. I rather just que up all roles at once, and have the system decide which role is more important for me to go in as. Since I do have several roles, from tank, healer, to DPS. I don't mind which class to go in, long as I complete my roulette at a more efficient pace. If you deny that this may work. Look at World of Warcraft. Seems to be working fine with them.

Well, that's the thing. If you truly dont care which job you do a dungeon on, you could just switch to a tank or a healer right now and get instant-queue'd or in the worst case within 5 minutes. That said, the DPS queue isnt bad either these days, you usually get into a roulette within 2 to 5 minutes.

It's not till you select something completely undesirable like the Temple of Quarn or something similar that you have rediculous waits.

But i think the fact of the matter is, the people that truly dont care already switch to a tank or a healer. The players with one set role as their main will still just sign up as that, as well as on a DPS. It really wouldnt solve much.
