Gosh that little bit of sarcasm flew right over your head. Look, it's not my fault you're using a sliding scale for what F2P means. TOR is F2P because it supports your arguments and EQ2 is subscription based because it supports your arguments. I'm sure contradictions like this don't even register to you anymore. I mean afterall who cares if you're honest right, being a professional MMO forum arguer is about shouting down the opposition and scaring anyone who reads your post.

I am stating facts. Your the one arguing.

EQ2 requires a subscription to play the game beyond the mid levels and required a subscription to play at all for over 10 years.

ToR does not require a subscription to play to level cap and didn't last 6 months a subscription based system.

    That is the distinction.

There used to be half a dozen excellent tutorials per boss for the more popular MMOs, but nowadays you'd be lucky to find just one good quality video that explains things right.
The Final Fantasy series is literally the most grindiest single player game I can think of. Run back and forth in the field to get fights to level. The "ultimate" weapons of that particular FF game. The end game super hard dungeon they almost all have that is optional to get the best stuff (hi raids). The skill trees.

If everyone is literally performing at the peak of human efficiency, the group will wipe due to limit bar gauge not getting filled by the time snakes are dispatched. In addition, the attacks are either misleadingly named (like "twister", which should be correctly named something like "twister mine" or "twister rune"), provide insufficient cues as to what the ability actually does before it goes off (conflags and fireballs), or are essentially cheap shots because you have insufficient time to react to them without prior knowledge of the mechanic (dive bombs). Healers get it the worst because they have to pay attention to all the same stuff the tank and dps do while also monitoring health bars and memorizing when a particular attack will occur so the party does not wipe (tail swipes).

Tempest Keep and Sunwell in BC didn't piss me off as much as Turn 5 has.
Both more so than dps actually.

Warrior, Scholar, Bard, Monk, Summoner..... May have played Black Mage a time or 2... Pretty much whatever sounds the least boring at the time.

Warrior.... pretty much like most fights stand there and hit 1, 4, 5, 1, 4, 6 over and over. Throw up inner beast when he is about to death sentence. Move left to right during twisters.

Scholar..... Mostly Adlo spam tbh. Throw up a succor after each fireball and a lustrate or 2 on the tank after death sentence. Call it a day.

The rest.. See the step by step guide posted before.

Limit break? If your pushing phases too fast auto attack phase 1 for a bit.

Twister naming? Sure it would have helped the 1st group through but if your suggesting in a group of 8 people SOMEONE doesn't know what it does and that someone can't tell the group...... right

Fireball/Conflag? Lol that should take seeing it 1-2 times to figure out "oh if a red symbol appears over my head shes about to shoo a fireball at me" and "if its blue this giant stun bubble is about to appear"

    Divebombs? See above

you have raided for 10 years but your suggesting these mechanics should take more than 4-5 attempts to figure out tops? You get prior knowledge of the mechanics when you wipe to them.

    - Why would SOME PEOPLE crowd the RAIDs if they have access to raid content already in a wild/free environment?
    - Trial I still do because its as much as 200 myth in 5 minutes if someone is new. Dungeons? Just the ones for Animus books. You can sold cap in an hour following the <pos> people post in party/ls and get enough myth for your next book too. Actually had to start buying mists (for zenith) just to burn myth because I spent an ~90 minutes doing hunts due to S ranks being triggered.

    - Eh money lost all value long ago. Markets inflated to insane prices (500 gil for a wind shard... really?)

    - Same problem existed in 2.0 it is like pulling teeth to get people to wipe to a raid for hours to learn it when they already have 110 gear (or 90 pre 2.2)

    - Well according to SOME PEOPLE the accomplishment!!!! Just like those of us who went to college for years and years just did it for the piece of paper right? RIGHT?

It's completely stupid and they botched their rewards system hardcore, we're in agreement. People should not have been able to get sands that fast. They should have been able to get ilv110 through welfare systems during the 3-4 months of this patch cycle. That was the whole point of a tiered tome gear system, to let raiders have their fun first and keep raiding gear relevant throughout the tier.
Besides, there's already a cap in place to prevent people from gearing all their jobs (meaning capping out sands/oils will eventually happen), and I expect it to be removed when 2.4 hits. By that time, raiders should have most of their jobs at 100-110 while non raiders will only have 1 or 2.

really? Is that what non-raiders are? Welfare collectors? I agree that sands/oils were handed out far to fast but is that really the best term for this?

That's what some raiders say. As a joke, mostly. Keep cool.

You don't have to explain to me that you're just here to signal boost and of course you'd step in to defend someone who is being knowingly disingenuous. That's just who you are.

Yep, that's me. Your powers to ascertain are so similar to that of kanye west and fish sticks. There is absolutely nothing else to me. I have no redeeming qualities. Just some rando forum guy that does not see eye to eye with you. Naturally that equates me to ted bundy or some other negative historical figure.

    Opinions different == bad person.

I LOL'D hard when Kanye West was equated to fish sticks.

To me, all this argument has led me to see both sides as this: http://youtu.be/Bto7vH-rz-E?t=51s

Some people want roast beef, some people want chicken sandwiches. People trying to enforce roast beef on those who want chicken sandwiches isn't going to work out too well. Neither is people who want chicken sandwiches resisting roast beef. In the end, we'll all end up going to bed.

Can we just be satisfied we even got anything to begin with?
