    Find it dumb that they going to also pick diff type of mounts for the game -.- should stay chocobos and not try and make it feel nice for wow players who would quit and go back to wow in few weeks.

    or maybe i read that wrong and he mean diff type of chocobos lol

    I originally was of this opinion as well, but after thinking about it some more, I really really want a Nannygoat mount.

    There are dragons in Final Fantasy XIV. And dragons can fly.

    But Ishgard is at war with them, and so is the Garlean Empire apparently, so I don't see much hope for us being able to ride them.

    FFIV has flying BLACK chocobos... and the game is 20 yrs old

    Someone didn't play FFIX. Though I largely don't like the idea of flying mounts in XIV. If they don't end up redesigning the zones, can you imagine just how bad the copy+paste would look from a bird's eye view?
