If you are in a full party all you have to do is hit a mark once and you get full credit. I have never not gotten full credit in a full party when I have hit the mob once. Its to your advantage to make a full group when doing hunts.

I wish you would understand that those of us that are complaining about this system are doing so that we can all find more enjoyment from it. Not just now but also 6 months to a year from now when no one even cares about this content anymore and you're just roaming through the open world and some rank S pops on top of you and rips your face off and you cry to you're FC to come help you and you reap your righteous VENGEANCE!!!!Most ppl that you doing this and are getting most thre claims on any given server want something that they can be competitive about, i for one enjoy the hunt and dont have any problems getting credit, as long as im not soloing. Rank B's die so fast bc its ment to be soloable, rank A is for a pty of four or more not 5k ppl, and i dont have to comment on the rank S. Truth be told stop hating bc ppl are being smart and doing it as a fc/ls and spreading out.
Yep. The more people there are, the better it is to be in a party.Your contribution is based on damage/threat/healing/whatever done to the monster. When you're in a group, you get the entire group's contribution added to your own. So every member of an 8 person group gets a much higher contribution than a solo player would. It's why everybody in an 8 person group can hit a rank B 2-3 times and they all get full credit, but a solo player would probably only get 1-3 seals.
There is a critical mass though, where if there are too many people present and the mark dies way too fast, barely anyone will get full credit which is why there are a lot of "fast" pulls.
I reported 2 people for it last night, was contacted by GMs, they said they would do an investigation. As of tonight, both people are online, so there were no suspensions for doing this, maybe just a slap on the wrist warning, so this is basically SE telling people that stealing claim is fine, just as long as someone else takes over for you once you get your warning. It's great they put in content that encourages people to be pricks, then back up that it is ok to be a prick with their followthrough.
Oh no i understand that, and in a few weeks month when ppl get tired of doing this or bored it sill b more like that.I wish you would understand that those of us that are complaining about this system are doing so that we can all find more enjoyment from it. We have no mercy, spare no one!
Maybe they're hesitant to do anything if they only get 1-2 reports, but hopefully if they keep getting complaints about the same people they'll do something.I reported 2 people for it last night, was contacted by GMs, they said they would do an investigation. And we all know SE's "investigation" process can be slow as molasses, so that could be another factor![]()
One of the people that did it said in say "Stop attacking til it resets." There should be no hesitation on the part of the GMs to suspend that account.

Eh, well I guess that's the way to do it then. How is the contribution calculated, someone was telling me number of hits.Your contribution is based on damage/threat/healing/whatever done to the monster. Why would you even "roam" through the open world. There is no point when you can just teleport all willy nilly. The cold hard Truth is when people don't care about hunts anymore they will once again ceace to aknowledge that the open world exists and just sit in Mor Dhona and que up for Bahamut.
