This is also under the assumption that people already have HA legs or other options above ilvl 100 in the same slot they would switch out for more accuracy causing them to "lose dex to gain accuracy." While some groups are indeed downing T9 weekly now, this doesn't mean that people already have the HA in the slot. I know a couple that are still using 90 legs over Soldiery Legs (for obvious reasons) simply because they didn't have any other better options. Amon breeches gives them additional options until HA drops grace their inventories was the point I believe Decoi was trying to make. This means they would be gaining dex, crit, and det if going det/crit novus without dropping below accuracy cap or needed to switch to acc food.

Because you can always get alternate accessories/pieces and swap them out when new coil release (Allagan Ring of Aiming is an accuracy ring, remember? You can also swap your High Allagan Choker of Aiming with Auroral Choker in 2.4 if you need extra acc, for example. Until then, HA Choker wins). You have new ilvl gear and you have new crafted gear.

Having over accuracy for current content? Some guys really never learn.

The thing is, other than Turn 9 Golem tanking and last phase, what other situations do you really require more than 500 accuracy or attacking the monster from the front? People with Rosenbogen already have their gear set up to deal without any Accuracy on their bow.

My point with my post is that with additional gear options coming out of Syrcus Tower, there's plenty of Accuracy on the new Amon's set.

Anyway, it's the person's choice to meld what they want on their Novus weapon. The cost, what content they partake in, it's really up to the player and that's the great thing about this weapon. It fits in with what's the person needs, on their setup. We aren't talking about Best in Slot, because if we were, then Novus is already out of the discussion.

Well, once you get HA legs and choker. You should get 26 more crit.
