Game content is full of mistakes...much worse than FFXIV 1.23

(Sorry for my bad English,so I will keep my words simple and short)

First I must say the UI,music, graphics in ARR,are very high quality, nothing to complain.

    Now,please let me explain:

    Open world mobs:
I thought I was playing "Dynasty Warriors"(三國無雙),a stupid ACT game made by KOEI.
killing a mob is like cutting grass. the creatures feel like grasses. have no life.
1.23 had perfect difficulty.(like the old school arcade ACT games made by Capcom)

    Skill rotation:
    123123123....
1.23 skill rotation had more depth.

    Battlecraft Leves:
Zero challenge, too little reward. no one wants to play them.
1.23 had better Leve quests,& the even better Faction leves.

    Tradecraft Leves:
You can buy materials from marketboard,
1.23 had the joy of growing.

    Fieldcraft Leves:
    Well...this one is okay.

    Quests:
There are too many junk quests.
1.23 had much less quests, but the quality is a lot higher, you need something between them.
    Quality>Quantity

    FATE:
Enhanced version of"Dynasty Warriors",never meet a new friend from it.
please increase the difficulty & time duration ,gives more exp/gil reward,
    again Quality>Quantity.
1.23 eft party/Behest/even the "Fire party" are better than FATE.

    Guildhest:
idk why they are there, what for?because no one wants to play them.
    1.23 Skirmish/Faction leves >> ARR Guildhest.

    AF armor quest:
They are just dumbed down version of 1.23 AF quest
AF quest in 1.23 was EPIC., AF quest in ARR is bland

    Novus weapon daily quest:
Difficulty can be 20% harder, increase the time limit.may require a party to do it etc.
because the 123123 skill rotation, there's really no depth,no challenge in these content.

I know you put a lot of development resources into new dungeons, raids, bosses.
    How about their gameplay experience?
    Some example:
1.23 King Moogle Mog: grind keystones with friends(good memory),people help each others.the fight was a mess, but it was funny too.
2.0 King Moogle Mog hard mode:the fight itself is okay.
Extreme mode:difficult mechanics that require a long boring practices.
people blame each other because they fail to address the mechanic. or they just give up,disband the party.(Hello MMORPG?)

And there are some issues I did not mention, but I think I should stop here.

You think he has an invalid opinion because he's not a fan of hack n' slash genre? The person may love both FF franchise and MMOs, but because Dynasty Warriors isn't his cup of tea, nothing he says counts...... flawless.

I prefer sandbox MMOs over themepark MMOs, but since that's the case, my suggestions will never be of any use to this game... /sigh

Any "difficulty" 1.0 had was tied to the input lag and animation lock. Remove those and the fights would all be incredibly easy.

1.23 isn't 1.0, though - something that ARR still borrowed from heavily but threw out the depth.

Ifrit Extreme had random attacks, and also had body parts that needed to be incapacitated to affect his moves. This alone is already more difficult than what Ifrit Ex is now.
    Just one example.

Haven't played 1.23, read what OP had to say and as I understand the message was this:

"Everything in 1.23 was more challenging, fun and rewarding...Why are some dungeons so hard and force me to practice?!"

No offense but sounds really stupid to me.

    INCOMING WALL OF TEXT.

    It's a little jarring and hard to read, but the other posts/threads the OP has made boil down to this;

    • 1.23 had a better community (undeniable, I can vouch for this through and through and can expand on why with ease)

    • Most of the Content the OP has tried in 2.0 has left them feeling it requires no skill or challenge to it, it's simply a [1],[2],[3] "Oh look it's dead now" (Although I think 1.23 wasn't any better really in some cases)

    • The community reliance has been removed from the equation. (By this I mean there is less of a reliance on the community around you to complete content, people become greedier, people form tight-knit groups, etc.)
Almost ALL content in 1.23 revolved around your community.

Job Quests - In 1.23 almost EVERY job quest relied on you finding other people to come help you defeat the challenge set to obtain either a new ability or your AF gear.

Instanced Content - There was no Duty Finder, all parties were formed through your community relations, establishing new friendships and widening your pool of 'contacts', this made a general more appealing community, people were helpful, people were less greedy and more obliged to help others as a result of being helped themselves in the past.

Hamlet Defence, Primals, Dungeons, Job Quests. All of it hung on the balance on whether people felt that they wanted to take you, or join you to do this content (if you were a complete ass for example you'd be screwed in 1.23)

Leveling Parties - Field Mob/Leve Grinding, although not the most glorious and exciting content was still fun in a group, and also touched on the 'community relations' side of things.

    Spirit-bonding Parties - (Natalan's wolf-camp was a great example; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6rtFPM8vo4#t=318)

Primals - Primals required 'Tokens' to participate, in order to get the tokens you had to kill certain NMs or mobs in the area to drop the tokens you used to enter the fight.
Primals work almost the same as before, although without a "Need/Greed" system in the game to decide who got which piece of loot, it was simply luck based as to whether you'd get tokens to exchange for a weapon or an actual weapon drop to your inventory.

    For example (I think it was 5 of these per run?);

    Garuda: http://xivdb.com/?item/5907/Vortex-Headdress
    Ifrit: http://xivdb.com/?item/5906/Inferno-Taper

Relic Weapons - My god, if you wanted to get one of these god forsaken overpowered things in 1.23 it took a helluvalot of luck and time to do so, but yet again if you didn't have the community relations to back it up along side it, you'd never even get as far as this. Teamwork and perseverance through strongly founded friendships were the only-way to get this sort of content done without going completely insane.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

My point I'm making here is that although you can still do all of the above, but your complete reliance on your reputation in the community and establishing and maintaining friends is absolutely nowhere near as crucial as before. You can be a complete chundering f***wit and still access content in the game, thus removing the community from the equation almost completely.

Testament to this, is that almost all of the 1.23 > 2.0 groups I seen move over, went from friendly, happy communities to bitchy, angry and infuriated rivals who tore apart their own communities over; Gear, Lockouts, Easy of Access that led to people being either Greedy, Impatient or Obstinate.

But don't get me wrong, ARR is great in many ways, just a lot of the things we truly enjoyed in 1.23 are gone.

I could write a book on the things that were great in 1.23, and an even bigger book on the things that were wrong. Some of it we'll get back, some of it we won't.

Well, sounds like I would have left 1.23 after a month simply because I am a loner. I hate being in pre-made party and there is no worse thing than people that try to be communicative all time. At ARR I spent half year playing alone till I found small FC that I actually do like. I still prefer to do things via df and join pf only when my friends want to - the biggest plus for me in this game is fact that I can do everything (well, except Titan ex and turn 5) via duty finder with random people or just by myself without being forced to seek friends/groups etc.
