Hunts were a terrible/irresponsible idea

Got 500+ points and a book yesterday. Just by being organized (we were 16+ people hunting together).

No, it doesn't work, that's why this thread is 12 pages of people complaining at how terrible it is.
You got 500 points? Good for you, you must have had a lot of time to spend doing nothing but hunts all day while majority of people were at work and get home with only a little bit of playtime and got nothing.

No, you just contribuite, I did it for 3 to 4 hours, everyone in our group checked a different area, when we saw a named monster we called everyone and waited. If ppl tried to kill before the others came in, we tried to reset the mob. We also waited for ppl that werent in our party but were hunting like us, and we were sharing finding. It worked great. Other FC mates made over 1000 points + multiple books.


My personal complain is that it's too easy now to make sands of time, while I had only two in SCOB myself (you can get 1 sand per month if you share it with other 7 party members and you clear t9)

Every thread in this forum is 12 pages of whining, what the hell is your point? So in other words, since this thread has 12 pages of whining this automatically makes the OP correct? All of your views are subjective. If y'all have such great ideas for open world content, please by all means, go make your own MMO. I'm not against changes, like increasing the HP pools of these mobs significantly, but your argument is ridiculous. I worked 10hrs yesterday, came home and got more than 500 allied seals and a book drop.

12 pages of whine (no cheese), and the first 3 pages is complaining from the same 2 people, inflating this thread to sound worse than it actually is. For every person whining in here, there are 50 people in the game having fun with this system REGARDLESS if they get to every single hunt or not.

Some of the hardcores are worse than the casuals sometimes...

Here are a few fun and interesting facts:

"i110 gear is being handed out by hunts" - Guess what?! It was handed out by Myth pre 2.2. Yoshi even catered to the hardcores in 2.2 by locking out i110 behind coil for 3+ months. Mad that it's over? Everyone should have known it was going to happen eventually.

No amount of i110 is going to equal progression in 2nd turn, save for maybe T8. That is still gated by T5, and being good. Bad players are not going to be good with i110. Twin will still laugh at unweathered gear as twisters sweep them away.

Myth drops were sorely needed in the open world. I won't disagree the drops are too high, however. But I am tired of farming myth via the same dungeon's first 2 bosses. The 17 alexandrites I have gotten in the past 2 days love this. These hunts are EXACTLY what the upgraded relic quests needed.

I got home and was busy unlocking new content so I didn't have time to camp out every single elite monster.
Also I like to get at least 8 hours of sleep thanks.

You're making the assumption that everyone is as nice as your party and actually waits for people. On my server, no one waits for anyone.

Besides, great job at taking my sentences out of context and twisting them to how you prefer. My opinion that hunts are good is subjective, but the FACTS I stated are not, which you conveniently left out of your snipped quote. There is a lot of other content, I'm happy you didn't obsess over hunts. Most of the people in this thread are doing just that, and not doing it well, hence all of the complaints. They aren't reaping in the benefits like others are, and are getting upset.

2nd coil is still gated by being good. Only getting myth from dungeons was a bad idea, due to all of the people leaving Duties after the first two bosses were complete. Those things are fact, and can't be ignored.

I chose to spend my time doing hunts with this patch so far, you are choosing to unlock new content. More power to you. Have fun! Why are you even posting an opinion in a thread about hunts if you don't have time to do them? Oh, right.... to whine.

I never once told you, that you were bad because you didn't get as many seals as me. I could care less if you 4000 seals, I'm still happy with hunts because measuring my e-peen doesn't make me feel better as a person.

This only shows how bad this is implemented. You shouldn't be able to get the sands of time in such little time. If you really got 500 seals and a book in one day, the hunt is a bad joke.

Maybe so, but I'm not going to stop taking advantage of it. And my remarks about coil still stand. Full i110 will not magically allow people to be good at T7. This thread is basically coilers whining that casuals can get i110. Who cares if the system is broke THEY SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET RAID LEVEL GEAR!!!

What difference does it make? It takes exactly 1-2 pulls to realize if someone is capable of beating said content. If you're good, you can still get HA. Hell glamour the HA over the weathered if the weathered is BiS.

You don't even want to know how many seals I got on Tuesday.

No need to defend yourself. It is entirely squares fault and everyone is going take advantage of it if they can.

The problem is, this basically destroys the whole gear progression. Now they can just remove the weekly lockouts from the new CT and Second Coil.
