I have all my pets abilities tied together in macros so no matter which pet I use I hit the macros and it does what I want.

Titan and ifrits stuns on one macro. All pets aoe and buff abilities on my bane macro(can hit it while casting to use just the pet aoe or buff without wasting a bane). Contagion I leave in its own slot. My bio2 macro has the obey command so I can tell the pet what to attack and can also hit it while casting to switch targets without recasting bio.

Lesser used spells like sc shadowflare, pet summons, tri disaster, lb, etc. Are all on the l2+r2 hotbar. I even have a steady/heel macro to make the pet stop attacking and move when I need to.

A little creativity goes a long way to smoothing out the wrinkles.

I like the idea of binding two pet abilities together.
