Hunts were a terrible/irresponsible idea

Everyone is complicating this too much, you see the monster, you attack it, you kill it, and if you can do so it's because: 1 you're lucky, or 2 you have been working for it, this is not a fate, not a dungeon, nor odin or behe, if you want to hunt with ppl go ahead, what you can't do is telling a whole LS about the monster and hold it and restart it so "everyone" can get credit.

The next time you see one of them attack it, if any other hunter is looking for it you'll have his/her help, but if you tell others via ls, joe A, crafter B, afker C and gatherer D will get there with a bunch of players to ruin the hunt and get credit w/o deserving it.

How dare they collaborate with each others! No mmorpg should ever try to encourage community content!

Why are we supposed to share information with ppl that is not working on the hunts? i never said you can't comunicate, but if you wanna do hunts, do so, work for it, in a group or solo, but don't involve players who are not hunting.



In that case i don't mind if they get them out of the list.

Because they are my friends? Because they shared a previous hunt with me? Because, really, why shouldn't I? Because it's nice to have server open world content and the community working together for once? I am in Hunt LS, a lot of us are working together to try to find the S Rank though the world, I'm checking one area, they are checking another.

Oh let's not get too crazy. It's basically a zerg fest. People sit around sharing locs, and then everyone hops on top of it. People are just camping and zerging, that's it.

I don't necessarily agree with the poster you're replying to. Though it's amazing to think this is the open world contested content you've been waiting for.

Eh, you know what they say, beggars can't chose. I'll take anything resembling player interaction over FATE or yet another instanced dungeon. (Yeah, I'm not going to pretend NM in XIV are that different from FATE... but at least you have to communicate a bit with these)

Eh I can understand where you're coming from. I'm personally going to wait to see if they refine the system. If I want to farm Sands and Oils I'll do it, but I just can't see this as something I'd enjoy in it's current incarnation.

Also it's OBVIOUSLY not intended to be zerged the way it's being zerged. I mean it really is just free Oils and Sands, I realize you may be thirsty for this kind of content but please realize your server is not putting this on farm because they love open world hunts.
