Hunts awarding tomes/marks outside of bills was a mistake

It's new and a million people are trying it for the first time. Things will simmer down. If every developer made sweeping changes the day after a patch then games would end up horribly unbalanced. You need to let the rush wear off.

That's my point though. It won't simmer down because NMs reward a disproportionate amount of tomes/marks despite people not having the bills for them. All it's doing is encouraging everyone to zerg the same NMs and preventing people with the bills to complete them. There are already people bragging about how they farmed over 5k myth and 2 sands from hunts alone. Meanwhile, I see the same people in Coerthas who still haven't been able to get their ENM done because of the zergs.

Seriously, things will settle in a bit. Look at how many people still do beastman dailies everyday, and those give mounts. Give it a couple weeks and the intense interest will drop off, and it will just make the open world healthier.

You don't know. That's my point. If every developer made changes due to knee jerk reactions like this then we'd have bigger problems. You have no idea what the future holds. Atma farming in 2.2 had tons and tons of people farming fates, but just a few weeks later it had dropped to a far lower and more consistent level. Let it simmer for a week or two.
