I still don't get how you got that from AQPMYF KZLD GPS RQQHOFR since there's three Qs. Nevermind, I derped so much.

You have to apply the "two steps forward and one backward and repeat until the end". That means:

A+1=B
Q+1=R
P-1=O

And repeat the sequence until the end of the sentence:

M+1=N
Y+1=Z
F-1=E

And until now we have the "bronze" word. If you continue the sequence until the end, you'll see some "Q" becoming "P" and others becoming "R" depending of +1 or -1.
