Not going to work, you'll still be the little Gaijin, no matter if you speak broken Japanese or not.
It's their culture. There may be exceptions, but the majority of them rather plays with their own kind.

It is 90% of the time a communication issue and not because they're racist. If you can communicate with them just fine, they'll have no problem partying with you.

Also, to be frank, JP players are, on average, more competent than NA players. NA CT, for example, is a cluster eff of chaos and insults. JP CT is almost criminally organized and a pleasant experience. But that's just my view on it, as someone who has played with both communities.
