Would love to see something done to commemorate the changes this game has and will continue to go through in game.

And i think i know the perfect spot, Its out of the way and already in game! On a cliff overlooking ishgard north east of camp bent fork (can't remember the exact name of the camp but it has something to do with damaged tableware) there stand five pillars of stacked >>stones<< (forgive the quality i have to run at low settings to make everything run smoothly)

Perhaps these could be made to be selectable milestones. Selecting them could bring up a small window with various tidbits of information like the books in both the mage guilds have. If nothing else just a listing of dates of the implementation of certain features, balancing, events, ect.

I've been harboring similar hopes for Ishgard for a while now - but I'm nervous about the fact that from afar it looks to be even older and less technological than the rest of the city-states. I'm hoping that behind the rough castle exterior is some impressive modern visuals; It'd sure make the little area I'm asking for fit right in... The guarded door locks seen in the dungeon preview give me a little hope, at least.

There's a tree-stump out in Gridania that has all sorts of decorations laid out on top of it that I've had the same curiosity about. (EDIT: It's a moogle summoning stump!? Why are Limsans not told this!?"

The things that really make me go hmmm in coerthas is the "Umbra" atherite gate up around feather gorge.

But yea there a bunch of little odd things like these stones scattered around the game.

Even some really nifty stuff hidden away in the bowels of the shroud. the amber stones, those weird pulsing disco trees, the ruins north of last hold, and if you go poking around south the sylph village you can even find what appears to be the remains of a imperial Juggernaut being reclaimed by the forest.

Of course you have to be almost suicidal or at least partially insane to go see some of this stuff in "person".

Though i think the most jarring discovery i made on my wanderings was the pit of r60-80 undead that is almost Directly below camp horizon. Just let that sink in for a second, while your merrily doing your thing at camp be it behesting, crafting or running leve's not 15 feet below your character is a pit of things that would decimate you before you could blink. Hell that whole tunnel system in horizon is just chocked full of things that i'm really glad cant agro from below lol.

But any who, Sorry for the derail of the thread Mr mouse.
