Daily hunts to include FATE bosses...

    Nooooooo......
    From the letter from producer

Regular mark bills will have you exterminating enemies commonly found around Eorzea, some of which may include bosses from FATEs
Why must fates be included in everything? Had enough of this with the book fates. Standing around for hours doing nothing waiting for a fate to pop. Was hoping the daily hunt would be something that could be done fairly quickly each day. Hopefully these arent too common. I know I'll be dreading them each time i get one.

FATES are yoshi's baby, he has to include it in everything for how much he touted how FATES would replace almost everything in basic MMOs - Open world content, NM and so on. SO what this means is like the Myth Book FATEs, expect certain fates to no longer properly spawn and be set on a weird timer.

Though reading the JP post, it sounds more like bosses also found in FATE can end up as marks.

Regular mark bills...not Elite, which drop the most seals. If you don't like it, don't do it. You can hunt the Elite ones, even if there is no bill marked, and still get seals.

Thing is: Weekly Lockout on Elite Marks. It's not good design if your players are expected to avoid the system 6 days a week simply because of a decision to throw in FATEs yet again, but it doesn't sound like it's actually FATEs.

Just a lockout on the billboard added rewards. Players still get seals (and a chance at item drops) from killing elite marks.

You misunderstood. Elite Mark Bills may or may not be tied to a given FATE, that wasn't clarified. Only the Regular Mark Bills were quoted as possibly being tied to a FATE, which are updated daily. Regardless, the NMs that appear for Elite Mark Bills can spawn anywhere, anytime, similar to NMs in FFXI. They will drop Allied Marks.

So let's say the Elite Mark Bill calls for an NM that is only available in a FATE (doubtful, but let's go for it). You don't like that. You can still look for other NMs, and still get seals. The only reason the Bills are in place is to keep people who have less time to hunt able to stay up to speed.

Although it shares some enemies with fates, there will be different conditions to getting hunt targets to appear. Additionally, when it comes to fates you should never be waiting a long time for them again as they will be adjusted in the patch so that individual fates are tracked on how much time has passed since they last appeared and it will be kept to a more frequent rate.

If you have the time to do elite marks. Nobody knows what the spawn timers are going to be like yet. If it's anything like Odin and behemoth alot of people won't ever have a chance at those. People with just a little bit of time each day could at least count on getting their daily hunt done for seals. Unless they get a fate one that day and during the hour they have to play the fate never spawns so they have nothing to show for their play time.
