I mean so we can view the ceiling/sky.

I have an easy time looking straight up... maybe I have to lean back a little or cock my head some but it's doable.

As a keen cyclist as well as someone who has spent a fair amount of time on particularly hunched up sports bikes, I've got no problems holding my neck at odd angles for extensive amounts of time, a flexible and strong neck comes with the territory!
