Please allow more then one character restore, Some of us have characters we really wish we could recover but unfortunately we can not due to this 1 only rule, FFXI did not have this rule so why must it be enforced like its a life or death choice here?

I would have to agree with the OP in general. Make it a paid option, make sure they can't get any RMT style benefit from it (for example, they could delete all the gil and non soulbound items).

There are some people I have heard of and talked to that have a thing with emotionally deleting their character... It's unfortunate, but at least giving some means to bring them back with some caveats is a good idea.

It's not just about aesthetics, progress or available names too. It's a horrible and loose safety net at max. If you get hacked and your character got deleted, you can apply for a character restoration (which is not guaranteed to succeed btw!). All is good if it goes through. If by any chance that you accidentally delete your character, a friend pulling a horrible prank or get hacked again beyond your powers, you are pretty much left to your own devices.

If a friend's idea of a prank is to delete your character, you need to find better friends.

If your friends CAN delete your character, then you're a scrub and you deserve it.
If it's YOU deleting your character and then getting all regretful after-the-fact(more than once), you should probably get some help 'cause life is gonna get REAL hard, REAL fast.

Regardless if a player deletes his or her character on purpose, They should always be allow to reclaim it since they are paying the company a fix rated every month to enjoy the game. As long as a person pay for there account they by all right should be allow to submit as many restores as they want. But my issue is the GM's are holding a restore from back in 2011 against my friend when it was 100% no cap on the restores back then. But now the game is relaunched and nothing like it was back there they are still being told No for what they did in the Old version of the game and that is bad for a company to be that low.

You're paying monthly to access the servers. They don't owe you anything more than that.
