The idea I get everytime an NPC gives me a minion and doesn't want to come help him/herself...because it's like saying "it's a dangerous world so don't go alone. Take this equivalent to a stuffed animal with you!"

I just do a google image search using advanced search to search for only .gif files *-*
like this for example: https://www.google.com/search?as_st=...GZezyATMqILADw
then I can type in something more specific, like "Touhou Project Momiji" for example if I want a specific character.

If you mean from what fan made game I couldn't tell you. There are literally hundreds if you spend the time to search for them in all languages lol and more made every year and presented at anime expo's and the fan hosted unofficial touhou convention in japan.
