Expand it to 90 days so that people can take a break between patches if that's what they choose, but the houses HAVE to be re-absorbed into the game and recycled if they have been abandoned. The servers need to be able to handle the load for actual gameplay, not peoples' personal monuments to themselves when they no longer even play.

I Can agree with this, and as for the rude part, i was referring to what seems to be a personal attack and belittling how i choose to associate myself with others in game. I intend to keep playing when i finally quit they can do w/e they want with what properties i invest in, i dont disagree with the elimination of no longer used properties. I'm saying that if we are only given a short amount of time, compensation to the party whose property is deleted shouldn't be out of the question, 90 Days is more than reasonable

Did you not read? Small FC - at some point none of its members may be online for that timespan, because everyone's taking a break. Asking a "friend" won't help, because not every "friend" I have happens to also be a member of my FC.

The duration is way too short, especially after how expensive they made those houses. SE should shell out a few additional wards already, before coming up with ways to destroy the stuff people worked so hard for.

I'm not sure what kind of games you're used to playing, but the p2p games I've played usually don't delete possessions you've acquired or accomplishments or progress you've made just because you aren't paying for a few months. Generally, online games which require a monthly fee to play try to remain appealing to past players so they might return. Deleting stuff I've put hours upon hours into acquiring is not exactly going to to give me an incentive to ever return, once I decide to take a break.

The thing is though... one person going on vacation shouldn't matter, so unless you and your entire FC are going on an extended Holiday together, I don't see the problem here.
