I used the BLM version and tbh I think the stats on it suck.
Far far too much accuracy.

as a SCH main I decided not to get the weapon and work on novus
I have no problem healing anything in coil 2 so I don't see need for it
Took the BLM weapon as it is my secondary job
Best weapon are probably SMN and BRD

lolwut OP, u wanna compare high cost massive time sink novus vs GET UR FREE WEAPON REAL FAST from t7-t8 TRAINING DUMMY? by the time u get a SINGLE novus, u already have 3-4 upgraded SoL weapons
I'm not doing second Coil, so that is why I'm asking. And I'm already working on my white mage Novus. As I have stated now multiple times in this thread, this question relates to my alt jobs of scholar, bard, black mage and summoner and the Allagan tomestones that will be dropping from Crystal Tower 2.

If you are not doing second coil, the weapons are useless, optimization even less, you can just take whichever looks good.
As others have said, if your not doing 2nd coil it doesnt really matter as your not trying to progress through the hardest content in the game which would require these weapons.
Also an important thing to note is that SE have said that the Sand and Oils (Tomestones have not been mentioned in CT2) will be coming in a later update and they will not be avialable right away. I would assume they would come around the next patch for Golden Saucer. You wont be getting them next week if thats what your goal is.
Unless you start to tackle 2nd coil all of this is kinda premature for your given situation.

That would make sence. Reward the people who already have Soldiery Weapons to upgrade to i110. As well as help the casuals upgrade their soldiery gear. Hopefully this gets added in next tuesday. They did mention that we would be getting allied seals as currency from these hunts. As far as how many will be required for Sands has yet to be confirmed. The rewards may be gated by Time which is what i'm worried about (eg. Making us collect 2 weeks worth of Seals to afford the Sands)
Actually, there was already information released that the Allagan Tomestone will be in CT2 right away with a 30% drop rate. It's also been stated that Sands and Oils of Time will be Monster Hunt reward items. As others have said, if your not doing 2nd coil it doesnt really matter as your not trying to progress through the hardest content in the game which would require these weapons.

They will all be an upgrade to your current weapon going from ilvl90 or 95 to 100 and maybe eventually 110 just based on pure increase on weapon damage. You should really be picking based on how often you play each class. Buy it for the alt class that you play the most then work your way down the list. There is no point picking an alt class that you play less over one that you play more simply because it is a "better" weapon.I'm not doing second Coil, so that is why I'm asking.
