    There are sidequests (in all three countries) that involve rescuing members of the Garlond Ironworks from Garlean spies. Confusing I know. But if you want to get some of the lore without starting a new character I'd recommend doing those. I couldn't tell you the quest names though.

    Ahh thanks I'll look em up ^^ OO wait i did those, I guess i just didn't pay much attention or :/, the Grid one I really did though.

    They're not a part of the Limsa city story line, they're simply mentioned in side-quests in Limsa (and Ul'dah and Grid >.>).
