So the Masked Mage, was Lahabrea yes or not?

Sory if I'm opening, something it could be an old topic, I just want to finish this once for all. But I'm my opinion this wasnt solved at all, also too many ppl think that he was actualy Lahabrea. Well this are the facts, there is no way he could be Lahabrea, of course an Ascian that was following his orders but no him. why?

1- the clothes( including the mask) were of a common ascian warrior. not an ascian lord
2- the glyph simbol on his head was different than the one of Lahabrea
3- When we meet Lahabrea, he said ( I dont remember well ) something like " is nice to finally meet you ", so that the first time we meet him in the dungeon
4- After completing Haukke manor and the extreme primal quests we saw 2 ascians with the same cloths like the maske mage

So guys I think that this is undeniable, but what you think, I'm wrong? and why?

You'd likely be interested in this. We never find out. What we do know about Lahabrea and his unique symbol, however... I would speculate it's an "Ascian of the Xth staff/sword/insertweaponhere." We see several generic Ascians tooling around the Beastmen Aetherytes in the EX Primals quest chain.

Not to mention the final SMN Job quest also briefly shows an unnamed Ascian. These ones definitely seem to be the Ascians' 'rank and file' - their grunts and labourers who do all the legwork for the 'overlords' like Lahabrea.

And yes, the glyph for the one fought at level 15 is different because much later during the storyline Alphinaud remarked that Lahabrea's garb 'attested to him' being an 'overlord', definitely suggesting that Lahabrea is far higher rank than the expendable mook the player disposes of. But really, we know so little about the Ascians and their social structure/hierarchy it's difficult to tell.

    This much seems certain.

To go on a bunny trail... Can a being without a body ever truly die? There is so much about the Ascians that we just don't know.

There is a lvl 14 quest in which you fight a "masked mage".
The specific fight is different depending on which city state you started in, but in each of them you encounter a masked mage.

If you started in Gridania the quest is "To Guard a Guardian", in which you fight off a bunch of Ixal followed by the Masked Mage.
If you started in Ul'Dah the quest is "Duty, Honor, Country", in which you fight some thieves followed by the Masked Mage
If you started in Limsa the quest is "Feint and Strike", in which you fight a bunch of pirates followed by the Masked Mage.

I always assumed this was Lahabrea as well, but looking at the explanations here it is quite obvious that it is a different person.
