Glowing effects on "upgraded" gear.

It'd be nice if the glow toggle were saved gear set wise a la /visor or helm display.

Some glows I love (Thryus Animus mmm), some I hate (Bravura Animus eww).

It'd be a nuisance to always be toggling when switching.

I like the glow on the blackmage's weapon. It makes sense too.
Not so keen on the others though.

I glamored over my stardust rod zenith but I adore the Animus. The purple glow with darkness peeking through just fits so perfectly with BLM.

Personally, I hope they do implement the toggle since I like some glows and dislike others.

I think the suggestion Parz3val mentioned, that the glow toggle should be saved with gear sets (like the "show helmet" toggle is) sounds like the best solution. There seem to be quite a few people who like it only on specific pieces of equipment.

Personally I hate weapons that look like Christmas trees, so I really hope they will put at least a glow toggle in the graphic options (on for everyone/off for me/off for everyone).

Not only that but you could equip two different Wrist, equip four different rings, wear two different earrings, equip a range weapon along with a main hand and second hand weapon slots. Also each of the four rings, two wrists, two earrings have different stats. BTW everything you equipped was shown on your character.

I would of like this a lot. If you have gloves on you can't see your wrist item.
