As annoying as it would be, it is still one more than you would be getting without The Hunt.
Yeah, it's just that if we're already getting at least 7 per week (with no Myth grinding), just one extra isn't really a big bonus :P
I'm personally hoping for 3 per week or something on that level. Maybe I'm too optimistic, though.
OMG IM ALL OVER THAT NEW MAELSTROM COAT!!!
I'm kind of bummed that it seems to be another once daily / once weekly activity. Yeah, the potential rewards for the elite hunts are rather strong, but I'm afraid too many optional activities are going to end up with this kind of restriction.
Treasure hunts don't really offer game breaking rewards, yet I can only farm one of the "1 player recommended" maps per day. The article indicates that elite hunts give allied seals, so can we assume that the regular daily hunts just offer a few tomes and some gil? Why bother restricting something like this to once daily, when there are no restrictions to farming dungeons for mythology and gil?
This was my primary fear when Hunts were announced and revealed to be another possible source of alexandrite. I'll take what I can get, but very sad my fears came true.
Here's to hoping you can get more than one item of choice per week.
I wonder if the marks will be wandering around or have the purple circle and spawn for us that way. I could see this getting REALLY ugly at first if they are roaming...
Just wow! Another screwed up Daily Lockout. I get the reasoning behind it, So players don't max it out in a week. But this Daily crap is becoming a job.
